1. Introduction and Scope
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the website www.sendiansecurity.com and the purchase, installation, and maintenance of security systems provided by Sendian Integrated Security Services (SISS), a division of Sendian Group. By engaging our services or using our website, you ("Client", "User") agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Regulatory Compliance (MOI-SSD)
As a security services provider licensed in the State of Qatar, all our operations are subject to local regulations:
- Ministry of Interior Compliance: All CCTV and security surveillance installations must comply with the regulations of the Security Systems Department (SSD) of the Ministry of Interior.
- Client Responsibility: The Client acknowledges that the operation of security systems (including camera placement and footage retention) must comply with Law No. 9 of 2011 regulating the use of security surveillance cameras in Qatar. SISS is not liable for fines incurred due to the Client's misuse or unauthorized modification of the approved system.
- Permits & Approvals: SISS will assist in obtaining necessary MOI-SSD approvals; however, the Client is responsible for providing all necessary documentation and site access required for inspection.
3. Products and Services
SISS provides hardware and services including CCTV Cameras, NVRs, Access Control Systems, Gate Barriers, ANPR Systems, and ELV infrastructure.
- Warranty: Hardware warranties are subject to the original manufacturer's terms (e.g., Cisco, Hikvision, Dahua). SISS provides a separate warranty on installation workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of commissioning, provided the system has not been tampered with by third parties.
- Service Scope: Services include site surveys, system design, installation, integration, and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC).
4. User Conduct and Lawful Use
The Client agrees to use the provided security systems solely for lawful security and safety purposes.
- Privacy Violations: The Client is strictly prohibited from using SISS equipment to record areas where there is a reasonable expectation of privacy (e.g., restrooms, changing rooms) or to record audio in violation of Qatar's penal code.
- Data Protection: The Client is the "Data Controller" for all video footage and access logs generated. It is the Client's responsibility to secure this data against unauthorized access.
5. Limitation of Liability
While SISS utilizes industry-standard technology, including AI-powered threat detection:
- No Guarantee of Safety: SISS does not guarantee that the system will prevent all unauthorized access, theft, or property damage.
- Service Interruptions: SISS is not liable for system failures caused by power outages, ISP failures, tampering, or Force Majeure events.
- Indirect Damages: To the maximum extent permitted by Qatari law, SISS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the equipment.
6. Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)
Clients with an active AMC are entitled to priority support and routine preventive maintenance visits as defined in their specific agreement. AMC covers labor and routine checks; replacement of faulty hardware after the manufacturer's warranty period is billable separately unless otherwise stated.
7. Intellectual Property
All software firmware embedded in the hardware remains the property of the respective manufacturer. The Client is granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the software for the operation of the equipment.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Doha, Qatar.
